- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 4 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups sweetened shredded coconut
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 20 maraschino cherries, drained, chopped, and blotted dry
- 1 pound chocolate almond bark
- 1 cup white candy melts or white almond bark
Instructions
- Cream the butter in a large bowl and gradually add the confectioners sugar, mixing until light and fluffy.
- Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and add the vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Stir in the shredded coconut, chopped pecans, and chopped maraschino cherries until evenly mixed.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place half on each lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm (overnight is recommended for best results).
- Dip each ball in melted chocolate using a toothpick or fork, tapping off excess chocolate.
- Place dipped candies back onto the lined baking sheet and refrigerate to set. Repeat with the second tray.
- Allow the chocolate to fully set before serving.
Notes
Store in an air-tight container for freshness. They can be refrigerated for up to two weeks or frozen for up to three months.
