- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
- Mix warm water, maple syrup, and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Divide the risen dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each into a bagel.
- Boil a pot of water and carefully add each bagel, boiling for 1 minute on each side.
- Transfer the boiled bagels to a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly, toast, and serve with butter or cream cheese.
