Description

A fun and easy recipe for making crunchy Magic Candy at home, perfect for parties or personal treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon flavoring extract (vanilla, peppermint, etc.)
  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil without stirring. Use a candy thermometer to check when it reaches the hard crack stage (300°F or 150°C).
  4. Once it reaches the right temperature, remove it from the heat. Carefully stir in your chosen flavoring extract and food coloring, if desired.
  5. Pour the hot mixture onto a greased baking sheet or mold. Let it cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, break into pieces and enjoy your homemade Magic Candy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature to keep fresh. Separate layers with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
