Ingredients
- Taco shells
- Ground beef or chicken
- Cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- Sour cream
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
- Onions
- Taco seasoning
- Olive oil
- Salsa
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil over medium heat in a skillet.
- Add ground beef or chicken to the skillet and cook until browned.
- Stir in taco seasoning and a little water, then let simmer.
- Fill taco shells with the meat mixture.
- Add cheese on top of the filled taco shells.
- Bake in the oven until the cheese melts, about 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and top with sour cream, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and chopped onions.
- Serve with salsa on the side.
Notes
Avoid overfilling taco shells to prevent messy eating. Experiment with cheese mixes for added flavor.
