- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté the chopped onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef alongside paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook until browned.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a baking dish, followed by half of the beef mixture and half of the cheese. Repeat the layering.
- Pour the beef broth over the layers and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake for about 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
