Description

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Pecorino cheese, grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Then, coat them with the grated Pecorino cheese.
  3. Cook the chicken in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir and let it simmer for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the creamy lemon sauce.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh lemons for juice and zest for the best flavor. Store leftover chicken in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
