- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup Pecorino cheese, grated
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Then, coat them with the grated Pecorino cheese.
- Cook the chicken in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir and let it simmer for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the creamy lemon sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Use fresh lemons for juice and zest for the best flavor. Store leftover chicken in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
