Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp and asparagus to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and asparagus is tender-crisp.
  5. Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and asparagus and toss to combine.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp to keep it tender. Be mindful of garlic to avoid burning. Aim for tender-crisp asparagus.
