- 1 box of saltine crackers
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- Maldon sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange a single layer of saltine crackers over the parchment.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over medium heat, stirring until combined. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the saltine crackers.
- Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips and butterscotch chips on top.
- Let the bars cool for a few minutes, then use a spatula to spread the melted chips evenly.
- Sprinkle Maldon sea salt over the top.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
