Description

A quick and flavorful Korean Ground Beef Bowl with a savory-sweet sauce, served over rice and topped with green onions and sesame seeds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Cooked rice
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
  2. Drain excess fat, if necessary.
  3. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to the pan. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until well combined and heated through.
  4. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice.
  5. Top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Consider adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick. Pairs well with kimchi or stir-fried vegetables.
