Description

A delightful way to enjoy a savory meal while keeping it fresh and light, these Korean BBQ Beef Lettuce Wraps feature juicy beef wrapped in crisp lettuce with a spicy mayo dip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 head of lettuce (e.g., butter or romaine)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 12 tbsp sriracha (to taste)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Sliced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef, cooking until browned and breaking it apart with a spatula.
  3. Stir in soy sauce and brown sugar, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Mix mayonnaise and sriracha in a small bowl to create the spicy mayo dip.
  5. Wash and separate lettuce leaves.
  6. Spoon the beef mixture into a lettuce leaf, drizzle with spicy mayo, and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Roll up and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, do not overcook the beef and adjust the spice level in the mayo dip to suit your taste.
