Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sauté the diced onion and garlic until translucent in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken breasts and cook until no longer pink.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and cream cheese, stirring until the cream cheese is melted and incorporated.
