Delicious and juicy kafta kebabs packed with rich flavors and spices, perfect for grilling or pan-frying.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for grilling)
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or lamb with chopped onion, minced garlic, and parsley. Add the cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well with your hands until fully combined.
- Shape the Kebabs: Take a handful of the mixture and mold it around a skewer. Shape it into long, cylindrical kebabs. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
- Preheat the Grill: If using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat. If you’re using a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
- Cook the Kebabs: Place the skewers on the grill or in the skillet. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F/70°C).
- Serve: Once cooked, carefully remove the kebabs from the skewers and serve warm.
