Description

Delicious Kafta Kebabs made with a blend of spices and lean ground beef, perfect for gatherings or a cozy dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium yellow onion (quartered)
  • 1 cup fresh parsley (washed and patted dry)
  • 600 grams ground beef (lean)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon seven spice (pre-mixed spice blend)
  • â…› teaspoon cayenne (more to taste)

Instructions

  1. In the bowl of your food processor, add quartered onion and fresh parsley. Process until finely chopped.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, finely chopped parsley and onion mixture, and all spices. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Form the kebabs by molding the mixture around skewers, about 1 inch to 1.5 inches thick.
  4. Prepare your grill; preheat to medium-high and brush with oil.
  5. Cook the skewers for about 4 minutes on one side before turning and cooking for another 4 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

Avoid overmixing the meat to keep it tender. Wet your hands while shaping kebabs to prevent sticking.
