Description

Succulent grilled cheeseburger flatbreads topped with savory ingredients, perfect for a quick dinner or barbecue.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 flatbreads or naan breads
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or heat a grill pan over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties, making a slight indentation in each.
  4. Grill patties for 4-5 minutes on one side, flip and top with cheddar cheese, cooking for an additional 4-5 minutes until desired doneness.
  5. Warm the flatbreads on the grill for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove the burgers and let rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on each flatbread.
  8. Place a burger patty on each flatbread and top with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
  9. Fold or serve open-faced as a sandwich. Serve warm.
