- 1 pound ground beef (80% lean)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 flatbreads or naan breads
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Cooking spray or olive oil for grilling
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or heat a grill pan over medium heat.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties, making a slight indentation in each.
- Grill patties for 4-5 minutes on one side, flip and top with cheddar cheese, cooking for an additional 4-5 minutes until desired doneness.
- Warm the flatbreads on the grill for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Remove the burgers and let rest for a couple of minutes.
- Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on each flatbread.
- Place a burger patty on each flatbread and top with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
- Fold or serve open-faced as a sandwich. Serve warm.
