Description

Juicy, perfectly seasoned burgers served with crispy golden fries, inspired by Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Table style.

Ingredients

Scale

1 ½ pounds ground beef (80/20 blend)

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

4 burger buns, toasted

Optional toppings: cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles

3 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Cut potatoes into uniform strips, soak in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.

2. Heat oil to 325°F. Fry potatoes in batches for 3–4 minutes until soft but not browned. Drain.

3. Mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Form into 4 patties.

4. Cook patties in a skillet or on the grill for 4–5 minutes per side. Add cheese if desired.

5. Increase oil temp to 375°F. Fry potatoes again for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy.

6. Toast buns, assemble burgers with toppings, and serve with fries.

Notes

For extra flavor, use Wagyu beef patties.

Serve with coleslaw, baked beans, or onion rings.
