Description
Japanese Mounjaro tea is a 4-ingredient detox blend made with matcha, kombu, ginger, and pickled plum. Naturally boosts digestion, metabolism, and energy.
Ingredients
1 tsp matcha powder
1 small piece kombu (kelp)
1 umeboshi (Japanese pickled plum)
1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger
1/2 tsp honey (optional)
Instructions
1. Soak kombu in 1 cup of hot water for 5 minutes, then remove.
2. Whisk matcha in a separate mug with 2 tbsp warm water.
3. Add matcha to the kombu-infused water.
4. Stir in ginger and muddle in the pickled plum.
5. Add optional honey if desired.
6. Serve warm and sip slowly.
Notes
Use high-quality umeboshi and ceremonial matcha for best results.
Skip honey if you’re avoiding sugar.
Avoid boiling kombu—it becomes bitter.
