Description

Delicious Italian pinwheels filled with cream cheese, salami, and fresh herbs, perfect for gatherings or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 8 oz sliced salami
  • 1 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, basil, and parsley until smooth.
  2. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each tortilla.
  3. Layer the sliced salami, roasted red peppers, and mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  4. Tightly roll each tortilla into a log shape.
  5. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  6. After chilling, slice the logs into 1-inch pinwheels and arrange on a platter.

Notes

These pinwheels can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
