Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla; beat until combined.
- Mix dry ingredients in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring gently.
- Add food coloring, if using.
- Shape dough into balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Make a small indentation in each ball.
- Fill each indentation with peach preserves.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
- Coat in sugar and cinnamon mixture after cooling.
- Let cool completely before serving.
