Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and ground cinnamon until blended.
  3. In another bowl, beat the two large eggs, then add the melted unsalted butter, honey, whole milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently to combine without overmixing.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans carefully.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
