Description

Delicious and healthy grilled turkey burgers that are easy to make and customizable.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey (75% or 80–85% lean recommended)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ cup freshly chopped cilantro
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil or avocado oil

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and combine gently.
  2. Divide the mixture into four portions and shape them into patties.
  3. Refrigerate the patties if not grilling immediately.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high and lightly oil both sides of each patty.
  5. Grill the patties for 5-6 minutes on one side without pressing down, then flip and grill for another 5-6 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve immediately.

Notes

Avoid overmixing the turkey to prevent tough burgers. Use a meat thermometer to ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F.
