- 4 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Optional: sliced tomatoes
Instructions
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping them connected at the back.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and spread butter on the insides of each roll.
- Place the bottom halves of the rolls on the skillet, add cheese and tomatoes if desired, and press the tops gently.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, use fresh ingredients and don’t rush the grilling process.
