Description
Crispy, creamy, and flavorful crab bombs made with crab meat, cheese, spices, and breadcrumbs – bake, fry, or air fry for the perfect appetizer.
Ingredients
1 lb crab meat
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup breadcrumbs
2 green onions, chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
½ tsp paprika
1 egg, beaten
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying
Parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Mix crab, cream cheese, cheddar, breadcrumbs, onions, garlic, Old Bay, paprika, salt, and pepper.
2. Add beaten egg, mix until combined. Add more breadcrumbs if needed.
3. Roll into 2 tbsp-sized balls.
4. Bake at 375°F for 15–20 minutes, or fry 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Air fry at 375°F for 10–12 minutes.
5. Drain on paper towels if frying.
6. Serve hot with dipping sauces.
Notes
Use fresh crab for best flavor.
Freeze uncooked bombs up to 3 months.
Experiment with spices or add jalapeños for heat.
