Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chocolate chips

Instructions

  2. Line a 9×13 pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and airy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time and then mix in vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips and optional nuts.
  8. Spread the dough into the prepared pan and sprinkle with festive sprinkles.
  9. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until lightly golden.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
