Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×13 pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and airy.
- Add eggs one at a time and then mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and optional nuts.
- Spread the dough into the prepared pan and sprinkle with festive sprinkles.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until lightly golden.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
