- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Steam the broccoli until it becomes tender, about 5 minutes.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add milk, salt, and pepper to the melted butter. Stir well until combined.
- Layer the tender broccoli in a baking dish and pour the milk mixture over it.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
Use fresh broccoli for the best flavor and texture. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses or add cooked protein for a heartier meal.
