Description

A creamy, decadent cheesecake that is intentionally burnt on top for a unique flavor and texture. Perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz Full-Fat Cream Cheese (Room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar (Dissolved in mixture)
  • 3 large Eggs (At room temperature)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (Can substitute with lighter cream)
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour (Gluten-free alternatives work)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt (Enhances sweetness)
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream (For serving)
  • 1 cup Fresh Berries (For serving)
  • 1/2 cup Caramel Sauce (For drizzling on top)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add in the sugar and mix until well combined.
  4. Crack the eggs into the bowl, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and mix until fully incorporated.
  6. Sift in the flour and salt, and fold them gently into the mixture.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for about 40-50 minutes or until the top is dark brown and the edges are set but the center remains slightly jiggly.
  9. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
  11. Serve with whipped cream, fresh berries, and a drizzle of caramel sauce.

Notes

For best flavor, chill the cheesecake overnight. Do not skip the chilling step for proper texture.
