- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups minute rice (white or brown)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10½ oz)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (10½ oz)
- 1 can water (use empty soup can)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9Ă—13-inch baking dish with butter.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and one full can of water until smooth.
- Stir the minute rice into the soup mixture until evenly coated.
- Pour the rice mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Place the chicken breasts on top.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the chicken breasts.
- Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 60 to 90 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving warm.
