Description

A low-carb twist on the classic In and Out burger, using lettuce wraps instead of bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Pickles, to taste
  • Lettuce leaves, for wrapping
  • Burger sauce (mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, and spices to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a pan, caramelize the sliced onions until golden brown.
  2. Form the ground beef into patties and brush each side with mustard.
  3. Cook the patties in a skillet or on a grill to your desired doneness.
  4. Assemble the wraps by placing a burger patty on a lettuce leaf, adding caramelized onions, tomato slices, and pickles.
  5. Drizzle with burger sauce and wrap it up.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your low-carb burger experience!

Notes

Do not skip the caramelization of the onions for added flavor. Use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
