Description

Iced Cherry Chai combines spiced chai, creamy milk, and cherry syrup for a Starbucks-inspired drink made easily at home. Refreshing, fruity, and perfectly balanced.

Ingredients

Scale

2 chai tea bags (or 2 tbsp loose-leaf chai)

1 cup hot water

½ cup milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)

23 tbsp cherry syrup

Ice cubes

Optional garnish: whipped cream, cinnamon, cherry

Instructions

1. Steep chai tea in hot water 5–7 minutes.

2. Stir in cherry syrup while warm.

3. Fill glass with ice.

4. Pour chai over ice.

5. Top with cold milk; stir.

6. Taste and adjust syrup.

7. Garnish with whipped cream or cherry.

Notes

Make chai concentrate ahead to store up to 5 days.

Homemade cherry syrup: simmer 1 cup cherry juice with ½ cup sugar for 10 minutes.

Try tart cherry syrup for a less sweet twist.
