- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6–8 hot rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- Butter for spreading
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the hot rolls in half and slightly butter the cut sides.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto the bottom half of the rolls.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the beef.
- Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
- Arrange the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
