Description

Hot Roll Sandwiches are a comforting and easy meal option perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 68 hot rolls
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Butter for spreading

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Slice the hot rolls in half and slightly butter the cut sides.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture onto the bottom half of the rolls.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the beef.
  7. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
  8. Arrange the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Be generous with cheese and keep an eye on the baking time to avoid overcooking.
