Description

A festive treat combining rich chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and refreshing peppermint, perfect for holiday celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
  • 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup of crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
  • A pinch of salt
  • Additional peppermint candies for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your pan by lining an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate by adding the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk to a medium saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Add flavors by removing from heat and stirring in vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Mix in the crushed peppermint candies, reserving some for garnish.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Decorate with the remaining crushed peppermint candies on top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes or until firm.
  8. Slice into squares and serve!

Store in an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
