Delightful fudge combining semisweet and white chocolate with refreshing peppermint, perfect for holiday celebrations.
Ingredients

- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
- Optional: additional crushed peppermint for garnish
Instructions
- Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine semisweet chocolate chips with half of the sweetened condensed milk. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Refrigerate while preparing the white chocolate layer.
- In the same saucepan, combine white chocolate chips with the remaining sweetened condensed milk over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in peppermint extract and salt.
- Gently fold in crushed peppermint candies.
- Pour the white chocolate mixture over the cooled semisweet layer and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle additional crushed peppermint on top if desired.
- Chill for 2-3 hours or until firm, then cut into squares to serve.
Notes
Use low heat to melt chocolate to prevent burning. Don’t skip the salt, it enhances chocolate flavor!
