- 1 package (17.3 oz) Puff Pastry, thawed
- 1 cup Walnuts, chopped and toasted
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 Egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the rolled-out puff pastry.
- Sprinkle the toasted walnuts over the cream cheese layer.
- Cut the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide, then twist each strip several times.
- Place the twisted pastry pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and puffed up.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
