Description

Delicious and juicy salmon burgers drizzled with a sweet honey mustard sauce, paired with a refreshing crunchy slaw.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, grated
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan to medium-high heat (about 375°F).
  2. Finely chop the salmon fillet and combine it with breadcrumbs, honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, about 1 inch thick.
  4. Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and marked.
  5. Prepare the slaw by mixing cabbage, carrots, red onion, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper until coated evenly.
  6. Assemble the burgers on buns, topped with crunchy slaw.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Do not overmix ingredients to avoid tough burgers. Use fresh salmon for best results.
