Description

A quick and easy dish combining sweet honey, savory soy sauce, and succulent shrimp, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a bowl. Set this mixture aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season them with salt and pepper. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes until they start to turn pink.
  4. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and stir well to coat them evenly.
  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and the sauce is slightly thickened.
  6. Serve immediately and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp to avoid a rubbery texture. Fresh ingredients will enhance flavor.
