- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Mix together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a bowl. Set this mixture aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season them with salt and pepper. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes until they start to turn pink.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and stir well to coat them evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and the sauce is slightly thickened.
- Serve immediately and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
Don’t overcook the shrimp to avoid a rubbery texture. Fresh ingredients will enhance flavor.
