Description

A delightful and easy one-pan recipe combining savory sausage, sweet honey, and fresh vegetables, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 ounces chicken or turkey sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper or coat it with nonstick spray.
  2. Arrange the sausage, sweet potatoes, and broccoli on the prepared sheet pan.
  3. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat and sauté the garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper, simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Pour the glaze over the ingredients on the sheet pan and toss lightly to coat.
  6. Roast in the oven for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until sweet potatoes are fork-tender and sausage is browned.
  7. Sprinkle with minced parsley before serving.

Notes

Ensure not to overcrowd the pan for even roasting. Cut vegetables to a similar size for uniform cooking.
