Description

A quick and delicious one-pan meal featuring chicken or turkey sausage, sweet potatoes, and broccoli with a rich honey garlic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 ounces chicken or turkey sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or coat it with nonstick spray.
  2. Arrange the sliced sausage, diced sweet potatoes, and broccoli florets in an even layer on the prepared sheet pan.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the honey, low-sodium soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  5. Pour the honey garlic glaze evenly over the sausage, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. Toss until all ingredients are thoroughly coated.
  6. Roast in the oven for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until sweet potatoes are fork-tender and sausage is browned.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with freshly minced parsley before serving.

Notes

For a crispier sausage, turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Substitute low-sodium soy sauce with tamari for a gluten-free option.
