- 3 ripe but firm Bosc or Anjou pears
- 3 tablespoons warm honey
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 to 2 tablespoons dried cranberries
- 1 to 2 tablespoons crumbled feta
- Optional toppings: pomegranate seeds or rosemary sprigs
Instructions
- Slice the pears in half from top to bottom, remove the cores, and trim a thin slice off the bottom so they sit flat in a baking dish.
- Drizzle warm honey over each pear half and add a small piece of butter in the hollowed center; sprinkle cinnamon on top.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 to 30 minutes until fork tender, basting with warm juices halfway through.
- Remove from oven, top with crumbled feta and dried cranberries.
- Serve warm with extra honey and garnish with pomegranate seeds or rosemary.
