Description

A comforting dish combining tender chicken, fluffy rice, and nutritious vegetables in a creamy base, all baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, uncooked rice, frozen vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9Ă—13 inch baking dish.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
