Colorful, fruity, and easy to make, these homemade Kool-Aid candy ropes are perfect for parties or as a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¾ cup light corn syrup
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 (0.13 oz) packet Kool-Aid (any flavor)
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour

  2. Stir in the Kool-Aid and mix well to combine.
  3. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and the Kool-Aid mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. If using, add food coloring to achieve the desired color.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
  6. Roll out the dough into long ropes.
  7. Let the ropes cool and then cut them to your preferred length.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. These candy ropes can last for about a week when stored correctly.
