Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add the cottage cheese.
- Top with marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and shredded mozzarella.
- Microwave on high for 30 seconds.
- Stir the mixture gently, then add diced turkey pepperoni.
- Microwave for an additional 30–60 seconds until the cheese is fully melted and bowl is hot throughout.
- Garnish with chopped basil and serve with mini bell pepper halves or crostini.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, skip the turkey pepperoni and add sautéed vegetables instead. Be cautious with the microwave timing to avoid rubbery cheese.
