Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar (for dusting)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for dusting)
  • Nutella (for filling)
  • Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, butter, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the flour until a ball forms.
  3. Let it cool slightly, then mix in the eggs one at a time until the dough is smooth.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Pipe or spoon small balls of dough into the hot oil, frying until they are golden brown.
  6. Remove the churro bites and drain them on paper towels.
  7. In a bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon. Roll the churro bites in the mixture until well coated.
  8. Fill each churro bite with Nutella using a piping bag or a small spoon.
