Description

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Whisk together cocoa powder, sugar, and salt in a saucepan.
  2. Add water and stir until smooth.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until it comes to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Allow to cool and store in a jar in the refrigerator.
