A delicious twist on a classic cheeseburger, this Homemade Cheeseburger Pie combines seasoned ground beef and melted cheese in a simple pie crust.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- Cooking spray or butter for greasing the pan
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
- Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine.
- Grease a 9-inch pie dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in the pie dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and flour until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the beef and cheese layers.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and center is firm.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
