Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter and softened butter until smooth.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar to the mix and stir until fully combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes until firm.
  5. In a double boiler, melt chocolate chips and vegetable shortening until smooth.
  6. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, covering it completely.
  7. Place the coated balls back on the parchment paper and let them set until the chocolate hardens.
