Description

A delicious and nutrient-packed smoothie ideal for weight loss, featuring spinach or kale, banana, and berries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup spinach or kale
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or any preferred milk
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Start by washing the spinach or kale thoroughly. Peel the banana and gather all your ingredients.
  2. Blend the greens: In a blender, add the spinach or kale first. Pour in 1/2 cup of the almond milk to help the blending process.
  3. Add the fruits: Next, add the banana and frozen berries to the blender.
  4. Incorporate seeds and sweetener: Toss in the chia seeds or flaxseeds. If you want a sweeter smoothie, add honey or maple syrup.
  5. Mix it all together: Pour in the remaining almond milk and blend everything on high until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk or water.
  6. Add ice (if desired): If you prefer a colder smoothie, blend in a few ice cubes until you reach your desired texture.
  7. Taste and adjust: Once blended, taste your smoothie and adjust the sweetness or thickness as necessary.
  8. Serve: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately!

Notes

Store leftover smoothie in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
