Homemade Healthy Twix Bars that are gluten-free, packed with wholesome ingredients, and free from artificial additives.
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups Almond Flour
- 3 tbsp Butter (melted)
- 1 1/2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 cup Almond Flour
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 1/2 tbsp Coconut Oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, melted butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well blended and press firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until edges turn golden brown. Cool.
- In a medium bowl, mix creamy peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond flour until smooth.
- Spread the caramel filling evenly over the cooled shortbread.
- Freeze for at least 1 hour to set the caramel.
- Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil together until smooth.
- Remove the pan from the freezer, lift out using parchment paper, and cut into 16 bars.
- Dip each bar into the melted chocolate, tapping off excess. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Optionally drizzle any remaining chocolate on top and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Return to the freezer for about 10 minutes to harden.
- Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge or freezer.
Notes
These bars can be customized with different nut butters or additional toppings like shredded coconut or dried fruit.
