Description

Crunchy, delicious fried pickles made easily in the air fryer for a healthier snack option.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pickle slices, patted dry
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup egg whites (or 1 beaten egg)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pickles: Start by patting the pickle slices dry with a paper towel.
  2. Make the coating: In a mixing bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Coat the pickles: Dip each pickle slice into the egg (or egg whites) and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Air fry the pickles: Place the coated pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  5. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Serve: Remove the golden brown pickles from the air fryer and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, ensure pickles are dried properly. Serve with dipping sauces like ranch or spicy aioli.
