- 1 package (25-30 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce in a single layer.
- Spoon half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the ravioli, then top with 1 cup of marinara sauce.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining ravioli, ricotta mixture, and marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
