- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tablespoons sweetener (like erythritol)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cinnamon sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine the applesauce, almond milk, sweetener, and vanilla extract. Mix these wet ingredients well until smooth.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Scoop small amounts of dough and roll them into bite-sized balls.
- Place the dough balls in the air fryer basket, ensuring they have space between them.
- Cook in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- While still warm, roll the churro bites in cinnamon sugar to coat evenly.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
