Delicious and fun sliders made with savory ground beef, cheddar cheese, and sweet Hawaiian rolls, perfect for any gathering.

- 1 lb lean ground beef (85/15 recommended)
- 1/2 cup yellow onion (finely diced)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 12 count Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup dill pickle slices
- 1/4 cup salted butter (melted)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Slice the slab of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms together.
- Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 9Ă—13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the ground beef mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
- Add the dill pickle slices, followed by the cheddar cheese slices.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on.
- Whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, and onion powder in a small bowl.
- Brush the buttery mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the foil for the last 2-3 minutes to toast the tops.
- Let the sliders rest briefly before serving.
Notes
Avoid overfilling the rolls to make assembly easier, and allow the sliders to rest before serving.
